1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using MakeMyStats ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Site.

2. Description of service

MakeMyStats provides free, browser-based utilities for viewing, converting, filtering, and transforming data files including CSV, JSON, YAML, XML, and Excel formats. All processing occurs in your web browser. No data is uploaded to or processed by our servers.

3. Use at your own risk

The tools on this site are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. This includes, but is not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Specifically:

• We do not guarantee that any tool will produce correct, complete, or error-free output for every input.
• You are responsible for verifying the output of any conversion, transformation, or validation before relying on it for production use, business decisions, or any other purpose.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Site may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control.
• Browser-based processing is subject to the memory and performance limits of your device and browser. Extremely large files may cause slowdowns or failures depending on your hardware.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MakeMyStats and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Site, including but not limited to data loss, data corruption, or incorrect output.

5. Your data

All data you process using MakeMyStats remains on your device. We do not access, collect, store, or transmit your data. You retain full ownership and responsibility for any files you load into or download from the tools. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Site's infrastructure
• Scrape, crawl, or mirror the Site in a way that degrades service for other users
• Misrepresent the Site or its tools as your own product

7. Intellectual property

The MakeMyStats name, logo, design, and original code are the property of their respective creators. The open-source libraries used by MakeMyStats (PapaParse, SheetJS, js-yaml, fast-xml-parser, and others) are the property of their respective authors and are used under their respective licenses.

8. Third-party content

The Site may display advertisements via Google AdSense. These ads are provided by third parties and are subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted to this page. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.

10. Governing law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
